As a SMART Vehicle Repair Manager, you will be an integral member of the Head Office Management Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your department in a clear, considered and appropriate manner, in line with the Vindis Vision, and building an accountable and pioneering business unit.
  • Effectively managing the resources at your disposal to achieve the required business objectives.
  • Ensuring that your wider team has a clear understanding of the strategic direction of the department and the business in its entirety, and that this is effectively translated into clear and championed visions and strategies.
  • Championing the effective and accurate usage, and compliance with, all systems and processes.
  • Demonstrating your department’s consistent adherence to the Group’s Aftersales Experience (Smart Repair); ensuring that every element is executed robustly and consistently.
  • Identifying and Implementing growth strategies to increase the Company’s Cosmetic Vehicle Repair offering.
  • Having a clear, understood and robust approach to personal development and performance measurement across your department, ensuring that all employees within your department have received the coaching and training needed to be able to conduct their roles effectively, and to develop into specialists within their chosen areas.
  • Championing and maintaining a culture of customer service excellence.

Prerequisites:

  • Previous relevant Smart or Vehicle Body Repair experience required
  • Previous experience of leading a team/managing workloads of others (ideally across multiple locations/remote teams)
  • Previous motor industry experience preferable
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer facing experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence required, as the role requires regular travel, and access to a Company Car will be provided.
